Mozenda was started to help users make sense of that unstructured data. We felt that, by allowing users to determine what information they need from a website and how that information should be structured, the data on the Internet would be infinitely more useful to businesses. Our product consists of a desktop application that is used to build web data-extracting agents and a web application that is used to access extracted data. This means that Mozenda makes it easy to create customized feeds of data from nearly any web page and then manage, export, or reuse that data.

The combination of data from multiple sources allows users to have useful, up-to-date information whenever they need it. It also allows users to easily create mashups, monitor competitors pricing, keep track of customer opinions expressed in forums and on blogs, perform custom research, and automate many online tasks.
