phpWAMP is software I wrote when I couldn't find anything available that did exactly what I needed when I was testing php scripts while I was developing them. What I wanted was a simple WAMP server that had Apache, MySQL and PHP, nothing more, nothing less. With those three pieces of software, I had just enough to be able to thoroughly test my scripts.That's what phpWAMP is. It's a unique program that lets me run Apache and MySQL and PHP on my Windows computer, but in a way that makes it easy to use. Not like the other programs where you have to start and stop services whenever you need to get things working.
