The software has been designed as general product for surveillance hybrid platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and distant workstations. Customers watch MPEG coded video and have complete management of the software via net that security station can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular configuration considerably increases reliability because all modules act as autonomous software. If one module stops working, other components go on running. For example if the `capture` module freezes, `watchdog` starts again it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video through a `playback` unit. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by activity, human face detection, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on remote pc via Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
