Bar One has been designed to be used with a ScanSnap scanner from Fujitsu. It will take the ScanSnap PDF output and automatically separate and rename the file by the contents of a barcode. Ideal purposes would be using it for Work Orders, Shipping Documents,Purchase Orders, Invoices, Check Stubs etc. or any other document that could be searched for by a reference number (barcode) and needs to be batch processed. Since Bar One creates files with a new name, if the file already exists, Bar One will automatically append the new file to the old one and place a book mark in it with a time stamp. - How it works: - Bar One searches the top half of the each page of the PDF output file generated by ScanSnap for a 3 of 9 or Code 128 barcode. When one is found the file is separated and renamed the barcode contents. This process happens automatically in the background providing the user with the ability to load a batch of files in the Automatic Document feeder of the ScanSnap scanner, press the button and have the entire batch processed.
