dwgPlotX is a multipurpose AutoCAD batch plotter and scripter, which will give you huge savings in time and effort and make your AutoCAD sessions faster and more productive.

dwgPlotX features an intuitive interface with subfolder search, multiple folder selection, file filter and file list manager to enable you choose drawings in many ways. File/folder can be dragged and dropped onto the File view. Important folders can be saved and recalled in Bookmarks. All main aspects of the interface can be customised including the look of the program.

The program configures as dwgPlotX or dwgPlotX-LT depending on the AutoCAD version. For full version, dwgPlotX features a standalone batch plotter, file exporter (to jpg, bmp, wmf, eps, dxf, dwg) and strings-replacer. It operates on both dwg and dxf file types.

dwgPlotX features a ScriptRunner interface to create, generate, save and run batch scripts. In AutoCAD, Scripts can be made to perform almost any kind of operation on drawings like plotting, purging, exporting etc, and dwgPlotX enhances their utility by running them on a number of files at a time.

Users can create their own scripts in the Script Editor, or commands can be captured directly from the AutoCAD window by using 'Command Capture' to create useful scripts in no time at all and with little knowledge. Scripts can be thoroughly tested before deployment using the line by line execution utlity 'Step Into'.

The user can configure and insert Tags, eg. Project name, creator etc which get automatically replaced in the final script with the corresponding replacement. This gives huge time savings. System Tags can also be inserted like date, time, filename, filenumber etc as per the requirement of the script.

In addition, dwgPlotX also features a comprehensive batch file renaming utility and scheduler to preset script run time.
