The software has been created as general application for security cross platforms functioning concurrently with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the program using net that security station can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular configuration drastically improves reliability because all parts work as independent programs. If one component freezes, other modules keep on running. For example if the `record` part freezes, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` module. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart server via Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
