LateralK is a simple software for calculating lateral earth pressure coefficients behind retaining walls in static and earthquake condition based on Rankine/ Coulumb formulae and also Mononobe/ Okabe methods. User manual (Help) is available for software. LateralK has very well-designed report manager with print and page setup capabillities.

Lateral earth pressure coefficients for earthquake conditions are calculated and presented based on horizontal and vertical ground accelerations (av,ag). Therefore in LateralK program for ease of use, Kae and Kpe are calculated for every 0.05g step of av and ag as tables. This way, User can find Kae and Kpe for all practical combination of av and ag.
