Lotto Luck 1.00
Lottery program that generates multiple winning tickets.
Lotto Luck v1.00 by Ken Pierce ============================== I. INTRODUCTION =============== This is the first version of the program Lotto Luck, an automated lottery ticket generating system with one major difference from all the other ones out there! Other programs use statistical analysis, or number tracking, to try and determine what numbers are "due" to be winners the next time the lotto is drawn. Essentially, if a number hasn't been drawn for a while, the likelihood that it will be drawn next time increases. Lotto Luck is different in that it assumes that all numbers have an equal chance of showing up, and that the only chance you have for winning the lottery is to have multiple tickets with winning numbers. Lotto Luck will not help you win the "big" prize in your local lottery (although it certainly doesn't decrease your odds of accomplishing that), but it will help you to win multiple smaller prizes. II. HOW IT WORKS ================ How many times have you looked at your lotto tickets and had one number on this ticket, another on a different ticket, etc. etc? It's frustrating because if you could get all those numbers onto one ticket, you'd be a winner. Lotto Luck helps you to generate a "pool" of numbers that can be used to generate multiple tickets. That way, if a number pops up on one ticket, it most likely will pop up on multiple other tickets. This way, if you win once, you probably have won two, three or four times! Instead of choosing, for example, six numbers out of forty-nine total for your ticket, you give Lotto Luck ten numbers to work with (or tell it to generate ten random numbers if you prefer), and then it generates ten *different* tickets from that pool of ten numbers. III. A QUICK EXAMPLE ==================== If you take, for example, the following ten numbers: 6 15 16 17 21 36 37 45 47 48 then the following tickets might be generated by Lotto Luck: First Ticket: 15 16 21 36 45 48 Second Ticket: 6 15 17 21 36 47 Third Ticket: 15 16 21 36 37 48 Fourth Ticket: 6 15 16 21 36 37 Fifth Ticket: 6 16 21 36 45 47 Sixth Ticket: 6 15 16 17 36 48 Seventh Ticket: 6 16 17 36 45 47 Eighth Ticket: 6 16 17 21 37 48 Ninth Ticket: 6 15 17 36 45 47 Tenth Ticket: 15 36 37 45 47 48 Now, let's say that the six winning numbers are 6 15 21 37 44 49, and that you need three numbers to win ANY prize. With these ten tickets, you'd have won prizes on SIX of your tickets! IV. LIMITATIONS OF THE DEMO VERSION =================================== The demo version has all the features of the full version, with the following exceptions: 1. The "Print Tickets" button is disabled, you'll have to manually write down your ticket numbers if you're using the demo version. 2. The "Save Pool Numbers" button has been disabled. You won't be able to re-use the same pool numbers from week to week without re-entering them into the program. 3. The "Check Tickets" functionality is disabled. You'll have to manually check your own tickets unless you register. Registration costs only $5US, and you also receive a free key for one of our other products, the game Fakeanoid (available for download from http://pixelperfectproductions.com). V.
