ShareWatch was developed to provide a means to gather information about who is accessing shares and when. The default Windows tools only give you half the story at a time and does not give you an easy way to really see the activity on a share.

ShareWatch requires an Internet connection in order to validate the registration code. The license covers installation on two machines.

ShareWatch can monitor shares from many different servers at the same time and gives you information, such as:

User name
Machine IP address or name.
Date and time of first access.
Date and time of last access.
Session time.
Session idle time.
Connection type.
Number of open files.
