The software has been designed as general program for security hybrid platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and distant computers. Users watch MPEG coded video and have full management of the program using net that security computer can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular configuration considerably increases reliability because all modules proceed as independent software. If one component fails, other parts continue working. For instance if the `record` part freezes, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video through a `playback` part. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by activity, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote server using Web interface.
