"Waiter Assistant" is intended as assistant for waiter at restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. It allows to replace sheet of paper and calculator with Palm handheld device, which significantly increases efficience.
It has following features:
- Managing menu of dishes arranged by category,
- Tracking all orders, its dishes and locations,
- Automatic calculating of costs for orders.

Further developments

This program is a first try on the way to commercial "Waiter Assistant". If you are interested in further development of this program, feel free to e-mail me.
There can be following features in next versions:
- Hierarchial categories for dishes (First dishes\Soaps\Chicken soap) and other improvements of Palm interface,
- PC Desktop module for menu keeping and editing, for a group of waiters,
- Reports for all waiters on Desktop,
- Feedback between Palm and kitchen PC to see cook what to do and indicate waiter what is ready,
Source code for a Desktop can be opened for a third-party developers.
